Are you and your company looking for food safety training for your frontline employees?

The 3-hour, Frontline Food Safety Training program aims to provide frontline employees, food processors, and extension agents with the knowledge and skills to safely produce food products. This virtual (live) training covers key concepts surrounding employee hygiene and handling practices, cross contamination, allergen control, documentation practices, and food defense geared towards the job responsibilities of production, sanitation, maintenance, and machine operators.

Participants will also receive supporting training materials and a certificate of completion. While training will be taught in English, we will have the training materials available in both English and Spanish. Find more information about the program here.

Train the Trainer

In addition to frontline employee training, we also offer a train-the-trainer workshop to help businesses implement training in-house. These train-the-trainer sessions were developed to support and empower supervisors and management teams as they build in-house training programs. North Carolina Extension agents can also teach this curriculum in their county. Reach out if you are interested in this training.
